So i guess i'm stuck on hard defense with a party or normal solo. I was hoping i was doing something wrong but looks like i'll have to work on my range. Thank you for the advice guys at least this makes it clear that my range is woefully too weak to solo this.

Defense Hard Mode is much easier than Defense Attack mode due to the lack of OP Insta-Kill Totems and I-Frame Ignoring attacks.

We're practically the most prepared class for Aswan due to Combo Drain, the best drain skill in the game. But even so, range is still a big factor. You have to at least be able to move your way forward when you attack.

The middle Statue summons rocks that will 2 hit you, and will also always knock you back. If two rocks spawn next to each other, you will likely get KB'd into the one behind you and die due to OP I-Frame Ignore. Either move away, stand closer to the right of the rock, or jump forward as the rock comes down.
Take down Hilla's tower after this. I can usually kill the stone pillar and get to the rope by the time it spawns. It'll spawn genesis like beams, which, also ignore I-Frames and always KB.

The main totem has 2 recognizable attack animations. Just try to make a note of these in game. A circle on the body means totems are coming. Be careful with FT spam and FB, as the delay might make escaping impossible. For the most part, you should just find a floor spot with no totem. If you notice totems spawning all across the floor, it's possible to dodge them with two conditions.
If 1 totem spawns later than another one, stand on the later spawning one, and once the earlier spawning one explodes, Combat Step into that spot.
There's also a small section between the boss and a spawning totem that you can stand on without getting hit. It's a bit dangerous, and sometimes totems spawn there as well, but it's a safe spot. Using Final Charge to get out of range is also possible.

Aswan will be difficult with the current miss rate anyway, so you might just have to get to 170 before doing it. Dojo gloves are recommended. All of the monsters are neutral to ice as well, so turning on Snow charge adds a bit of damage.

150k range is need to be able to solo hard mode, that to solo within 30 sec

just do defend mode its so easy on hard~~

If you want to get lv 70 honor I suggest you don't do azwan at all until you can solo hard mode in less than 30 sec. Idk how much range is needed to do that on an Aran but definitely quite a few funds. If you're doing it to level up, go to stronghold/lhc because the exp at azwan is THAT bad. Other than that just avoiding the totems that turn into laser blasts, is quite easy on any class.

Not sure what you need tips on but if it's surviving just watch the ground.
Totems will pop up on the ground that indicate it's going to fire the laser down on that spot. Just move away from it before it does and you should be fine.
