[b]~~Introduction~~[/b]
Hey everyone!
I guess you are looking at this guide only because you want to be a powerful Battle Mage, Battle Mage's are a unique mage class since their HP and MP are balanced and they can mob from their 1st job! Battle Mages may level slower than Wild Hunter but their skill are also powerful and even FLASHY! Battle Mages are helpful in parties cause of their auras. They have auras to help their Magic, HP, and much more! They also call attention to themselves since they strictly only use staffs, yeah no wands allowed. They get lots of cool skills already in 1st job, they already have teleport! Yeah, you heard me correctly [b]TELEPORT[/b]. I like Battle Mages personally since they have tons of cool flashy skills to use, BaMs are basically the next generation or Dual Blades. They have 3B (triple blow), 4B, 5B, and 6B which allows them to attack that many time really fast. In this guide I will be talking about the AP build, SP build, and the training areas.

[b]~~AP build~~[/b]
This is fairly simple, if you want to go as a Normal LUK mage just press the AUTO ASSIGN button which is 4 INT and 1 LUK
However you need to cap your LUK to the amount of the final equipment you are going to wear.
However, some people go with LOW LUK mage which makes you so much more powerful, the downfall of this option is the you need to be [b]super, super funded[/b] and by super, super funded I mean like 400 M. For this you would add about 1 or 2 LUK every ten levels
There is also a last option, you can be LUKLESS mage, which basically means you never raise your LUK, these are very strong mages from level 1-120 but it all balances out in the end so this option would not be recommended since in the end you won't have the LUK to wear the GODLY equips.

This build is very useful for all types of Battle Mages. First off, apply 1 point on to Quad Blow for damage purposes, 1 point onto Dark Chain for a 100% stun attack, and 1 point onto yellow aura for a speed boost. After max staff mastery to close the margin of minimum damage to maximum damage, followed up by Quad Blow for damage. After Quad Blow is done raise Staff Booster to Level 11 for a boost in speed, and than blue aura for damage depletion against you and your allies. Finish maxing staff booster and move on to Dark Chain for additional stun duration and damage. Finally dump all remaining SP into Yellow Aura for a speed boost and the monsters speed decrease, than add the remaining final SP into Blood Drain.

The benefits of this build is that Blood Drain can save you a lot of pots in the early levels. Later on though, it does not make such a big difference, since you have a lot more hp and monsters do a lot more damage, that it just doesn't do much. However, if you find it more useful than a longer time on booster feel free to use this build. The only hard part for me is that I forget to check when booster dies out. Although make sure if you do use this build, to stop it at level 9, all you need is 3%. This can be an ideal build for the more focused and money saving type of person.

This build maxes Dark Lightning first before Super Body for additional attack damage. Start off with Death Blow for damage, Conversion for a massive HP increase, and Advanced Dark Chain for greater range with Dark Chain. Afterwards, max out Death Blow for maximized attack potential and than Battle Mastery to boost critical damage. Conversion follows up to boost your HP by +100% and Teleport Mastery to create a stun to every time you teleport past an enemy. Now apply 1 SP to both Dark Lightning for damage, and Super Body for partial invincibility when Blue Aura is active while using super body. Max out Advanced Dark Chain after for more damage and stun duration than apply another SP onto Super Body and start to max Dark Lightning for shock damage (being instant high attack damage). Max out Advanced Blue Aura after for an increase in defensive abilities. Now finish with Super Body for an additional attack boost with Dark Aura and speed boost with Yellow Aura and dump the remaining SP into Revive.

This build maxes Super Body first before Dark Lightning for additional abilities. Start off with Death Blow for damage, Conversion for a massive HP increase, and Advanced Dark Chain for greater range with Dark Chain. Afterwards, max out Death Blow for maximized attack potential and than Battle Mastery to boost critical damage. Conversion follows up to boost your HP by +100% and Teleport Mastery to create a stun to every time you teleport past an enemy. Now apply 1 SP to both Dark Lightning for damage,

Quintuple blow = death blow? 3rd job doesn't even get a skill called death blow. So far this guide is fail.
