Even though we not be "amazing" at bossing, we are still really good at it. Our main problem is the arms at zak, and how they need to be mobbed. Thats why shadowers come out over us, because they have SP now, and trifecta assassinate. Which all in all is pretty bad ass. But still, shadowers... they just don't move as much as DB's. They're like "warrior ninjas" And I just don't like them.

it might just be me, but I have about 1k health more than my sister's hermit... when we were the same level... We both maxed out shadow resistance and the only extra HP I had was from my katara...

Although makes sense... would you find it fair if BaM's could have 160% HP boost from 2 skills not counting the HP % equips?
Surprisingly, i do find it fair. They take a lot of touch damage. xD
And they have a skill where they can split damage from other people in the party etc.. blah blah.
But that's just me.

Well I'm pretty sure everyones main problem with the DB is the lack of HP? And that's not that really big of a deal considering all of the ways GMS provides for us to get HP. I think the main problem is the economy, and acquiring those items. And then another problem people have is leveling up the character high enough to be able to acquire those items.

Other than that it looks like everyone who plays the DB loves them haha. This is cool! Keep talking about it guys, it's fun to get everyones opinion! (:
@omggaspgasp: Uh no.. HP % works by % there is no multiplier.
It stacks together.
10% + 10% + 10% + 10% = 40% HP boost regardless..

The only HP boost that doesn't stack in GMS is BaM's Conversion and Hyper Body.
Really? I thought they stacked. Do you have proof?

Pros: Pretty much what everyone else said.
Cons: Same thing as what everyone else said, but to add on I take more damage, in both magic and physical, than my lv 102 priest friend.

Pros: Everything
Cons: HP but I have like 6.5k HP. And I don't even have a CZHELM yet or Rex Earrings. :]

I agree, I don't really pay attention to the story line. It's just a 2nd kind of base to the main, leveling up to level 200 kind of deal for me.

forgot the story line, whilst it doesnt engage me much as the CK story line, DBs isnt bad, we go from "grr were against the dark lord, to ahh he is okay"-could use some work but not terrible

Yea, I kind of wished that was it too. I think the katara on the left hand looks gay cuz its out forward :l

So instead of a dagger katara, a katara and katara, and one of them is being held backwards, like the dragon khanjar?

I agree OFGeneral, I really enjoy the playstyle of the DB. How we get 2 weapons. I wish they could have made it so that the katara was kind of held like the dragon khanjar though ):

Yes, I love how we control practically every mob we hit @ therebegold. I completely agree with you. I love how much we move, and its always something to do. Sitting still. It's just not something I enjoy.

love the training style i mean jumping and spinning everywhere, every attack of ours is movment and comboed excpet for US spam, which come Chaos patch wil be comboed with whatver the 6 hit spin attack is called. I mean ya nls and dits have haste and FJ too but, tell me how many classes whose play style is pushing monsters nearly all teh way across the field. A DB never sits stil i love it.

Cons:
HP, not really that big of deal for not bossing now, but if i had to pick a con its HP

Yea, you practically can't get past level 16x without getting a pair or two of equips that have what you listed.

Johny, he meant training mobs. Bossing is a different story. But those equips you listed for us, will easily increase our hp more than necessary for PB.

@sam77571: You do realize people say DB have low HP due to bossing situations right?
Training doesn't mean a single thing compared.
PB for example.. 12k HP is needed.
You won't even have CLOSE to that much at lv 200 without washing or getting the basic equips as I stated.

Yes, our HP is always sufficient for the mobs we will train on. I completely agree with sam.

Yea, Johny I do agree. But that's for a well funded character ^_^ which, quite frankly I am not. I have shadow resist yes, But the other stuff you listed. That's just way out of these guys price ranges. That stuff could take easily, a few bill to get. I don't even have enough pot money right now.

@Thiele @luckyraver99 +To add on getting HP % is easy now.
Shadow Resistance 10%
Chaos Zak helm 10%
Chaos Horntail 10%
Rex Earring 10%
Self-HB 40%

With 80% HP boost from the basic stuff any DB should eventually have your HP is already greatly high enough for bossing / training without washing.
+ Normal HB gives you a total of 100% HP boost.
+ You gain more HP now with job advancin.. so even unwashed.. you'll get well over 13k HP at lv 200 with normal HB.

+ With BaM and Pally's in boss runs.. bosses even at later lvs won't do much dmg.
Threaten + Adv. Blue Aura = Ultimate defense combination.

Agree'd on the skills part. I like the flashy skills, the way it looks with FA when you go down is just kinda BA looking haha. The damage is also nice, I'm dealing out 30k ish damage with my FA at level 101. I like the maneuverability too.

I don't agree with the low hp, that's not really an issue with the DB, considering all of our iframes. I rarely ever get touched while training. I buy 500 hp pots to go out to a spot and can stay out there for quite a while. They keep me going for like 3-4 hours. And the party skills, we will eventually get everything taken from us. So we're still just bleh there.

Pros: Speed, dmg, mobility, training, bossing, high avoid, decent HP(IMO), invicibility frames, decent critical rate.

Cons: That they nerfed our fatal blow and avoidability but its the same for all classes
