Are you playing with a laptop? If so, I'm pretty sure it's due to overheating. If you're playing with a laptop, always keep it well ventilated. What I do is take out the battery, elevate the back with a stapler or a book (yes, it works) to let it vent and breathe. I also play near the window, so it gets decent air exposure.
Or, you can buy a fan. I cheaped out and just ghettofied it by elevating it. Choice is yours.
You should clean out your fan. Disassemble your computer and find the fan on the motherboard which could possibly need cleaning. Make sure you wear a rubber band on your wrist though so you can ground yourself and you don't create static charges to damage the motherboard. Or you could just begin touching around the outsides of the computer but don't do this on carpet as it is much more riskier.
This happened to me for a while, i fixed it by doing a few things, first off if your using windows XP you have to get it updated to service pack 3. run an anti virus to find any other problems just in-case, one you do these too things and it still shuts off you have to change your browser(this worked for me when i had this problem not sure if itl work for you)
Your computer might need more memory. Most likely you're running out of RAM and the computer is shutting down unnecessary processes in order to conserve memory.
