gMS released Jett as an exclusive class because they were way too lazy to design their own new class. Our pirate revamp was delayed because of Jetts.

Actually, this was a quote from MapleStory's facebook page:

Who ever that RibbonPig fruit is, all they did was they read this and then compiled information from other sources.

This, so much. None of this is on the official site yet, and detailed patch notes don't usually get released until the week of the update. It's amazing what some people will do to get attention.

If you wanna get technical its Jetts copying Sairs. The sair revamp was created first. The Jett and sair revamp data was added to the game at the same time except the revamp data wasn't released. If for some crazy reason there was a court case on who copied who, the law would easily find that Jetts are the ones that ripped everything off sairs.

Jett's skills are modelled after the corsair revamp, not the other way around.
