I need help finding a computer to buy

I have a request for anyone know knows a lot about buying computers online, knows where to get the best deals, and can help me find the right computer for my friend.

My friend would like to spend no more than $500 on a new desktop computer. He does NOT want to build his own, because he lacks the knowledge and patience to do so.

He says that the most resource-requiring thing he would us this computer for would be Guild Wars 2 (when it comes out). The specs are as here to give you an idea of what we're looking for: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=684&game=Guild+Wars+2

My questions are the following:
1) Can he afford such a computer with $500 without building his own?
2) Where's the best place to find great deals on pre-built computers.
3) If you're bored, you're good at finding solutions to such situations, you're feeling kind, or any combination of those, could you pretty please find a computer for him?
Something like this is what you get for $500:

Using that link, how much would it cost to upgrade it to the point that it could run GW2?

Building one wouldn't be too great of an idea with only 500$ anyways. If someone plans on building they should at least go with an i5 SB/IB processor and that alone is gonna be $150-$200. Then a 100$ mobo and windows 7, that's about 400$ already. Add the PSU, case, GPU, optical drive and HDD and you're looking at about another 300$-400$ depending on what kind of games you want to play.

TS are you sure he cannot stretch his budget to maybe $600-$650? I mean if you're going to purchase a computer and already spend 500$, why not spend a bit more to get something you won't regret getting. Then again if he gets something with a decent processor all he will have to upgrade is the GPU.
Does he want his computer to resemble the minimum requirements or the recommended?
Would you be able to tell me both?

I'm sorry for being so difficult/demanding. I just...would really like as much assistance here as possible, if that's okay with you.

@enver90 Just saw your edit. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the help! ^_^
Same goes to you, @Yorkelyorke. Even if you can't help me all the way through, I do appreciate your help so far.

Well... I need it to help him. He's a really good friend of mine, and he asked me to help him. But I don't know a lot about buying computers. I'm sorry if I've mislead you. It was not intended to be that way.
