Stupid christmas sock thing. Help please
Gosh the one time in like 8 months I want to come back and play maplestory... this new stupid event is stopping me from playing. Anytime I enter ANY city with that massive christmas sock I lag... massively. I lag no where else. This problem only happens in cities. Once the lag starts its almost impossible for me to get out. The second I enter the map it starts instantly if I am close to it. Only way out as far as I know is to hope the map is big enough and he goes <---- and I go ---->.
Any help on trying to get rid of this problem would be appreciated. As things stand right now fellow khainians start taking those things out in channel 1 lol!

Its pretty bad and im pretty sure its the sock. Considering if I move far away enough from it the lag goes away. It could be the snow boss though?
CPU problem, I believe. I don't think they bothered optimizing the socks and such, so they lag people WAY more than 2D pictures should.
Try lowering the graphics until the event ends. XD
Wat. That sock is like.. not even technically there.
I've never heard of it lagging anybody else.
It is sooo annoying. Maybe it is due to the fact you are in broa and people take them out? @norcalkid
I have never seen a Giant sock O.O
