How long does it take to find a recipe?

and not like the pendant recipes, ABR recipes, or pot recipes but like crafting recipes. because i tried to find a Dragonic Barisetter recipe http://global.hidden-street.net/search/Dragonic%20Barisetter (yeah i'm no good when it comes to pasting links sorry) at blue dragon turtles and spirit vikings. if i am to continue finding this recipe, how long would it take? and which mob has a better drop rate? i'm 126 atm.
