lmaoo :L
@riddks1: The 5850M costs around 350 dollars. That's equivalent to the price of an 5870, which in turn is still a very high end card.
By the way, I've seen budget builds with 5870s under 1k.
I didn't know you can buy laptop GPUs now.
The iCores are beast. AMD nub I'm guessing. xP
OP, 5450? That card sucks. Get like a 5970 or 580 and come back.
Because of your post, I''ll asume that you have a 5970 or better?
Unless you have money flowing through your nose, I think you should keep your mouth shut.
@OT Dw about it, this is a good budget gaming build...
Edit: 50 pesos you probably don't even build computers let alone know how. You should open up your store bought computer and see the crappy hardware they put in there.
Processor could be better. I got an i5 that goes to 3.2 GHz, 3.8 overclocked.
Otherwise, that's a very nice setup you got there.
The only games i'm going ot play is maple. Ill mostly video edit though.
Then get a workstation GPU instead of a "gaming" one.

I lol'd at Gaming Build and HD5450.
Guys. I need some help. How far do you think I could overclock my i5 too? As high as it can go without any faults. I have the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus Heatsink with 2 fans
@Aspartame:
i find iCores to be more expensive to upgrade.
The only games i'm going ot play is maple. Ill mostly video edit though.
Then don't call it a gaming build.
It isn't.
The only games i'm going ot play is maple. Ill mostly video edit though.
Well, he did say that he is going to use it for video editing
Get a workstation GPU if you want to do multimedia editing instead.
Having that said, the 5450 isn't terrible. It'll run most games, just not on maxed settings.
Video of Bad Company 2 with the HD4570 (basically dx10 version of the 5450) running under Dx9 and low settings (though high settings give you the same frame rates for some reason)
EDIT
@Kid24: your desk changes everytime I see it >_>
Heres my recent one
Intel Core i7 860 2.8ghz
4GB Patriot DDR3 Ram
Nvidia EVGA GTS 250 512mb
1 TB WD SATA II HDD 7200 RPM 32MB cache
550 Watt PSU
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
24" Asus HD Monitor 1920x1080
Apple Wireless Keyboard
Logitech LX8 Wireless Mouse
Logitech C250 Webcam
Logitech Z623 THX Certified 2.1 Speakers
Don't need a high end video card.. I can already run all games on high with the 250gts running 1080P res.
a 5450 isn't that good for gaming. You should have gotten better.
Well, he did say that he is going to use it for video editing
Yeah, that graphics card bottlenecks your build.
this.
also, i find myself avoiding iCores.
a 5450 isn't that good for gaming. You should have gotten better.
Why do you need so many monitors? 2 should be enough and I personally would find it annoying to display stuff on multiple monitors.
