Wild Hunters. Their Call of the Wild skill uses previously caught monsters to attack for you, while also seeming to be quite useless.
The mobs have no fixed hp, and die when their duration runs out, like other summons, and cannot be attacked by skills other than environmental effects (Flame Gear, Poison Mist, etc.)
Wild Hunters have the capacity to summon 2 Call mobs, 1 Wild Trap, 1 Silver Hawk, and a familiar, for a total of 4 summons. For aesthetic effects, you can run around towns like Henesys with 3 additional pets, for 7 monsters/animals at your disposal.

It is recommended that you find monsters that use "skill" attacks instead of touch damage, since the touch damage mobs tend to get in the way of drops and mesos.

If you feel the need to attribute things to other things to understand them, then yes
why are our enemies so weak?
i want a real challenge.
and don't even get me started on touch damage.
so stupid. give our enemies real attacks, get rid of touch damage,
then we'll see about this summoning business.

I came up with a summoning/debuff class idea a long time ago.

Basically, you use in total 9 summons to fight while you yourself has like 2 attacks throughout their entire job advancments but mainly specialized in weakening/debuffing monster. So basically you weaken stuff while the summons wreck things up
Corsairs are supposed to be summoning classes. Before Mutiny, it was all about Octopi, and to a smaller extent, Gaviotas. We could have had 7 or 8 summons out at a time, easily.
I would think a necromancer would be nice as a summoner. They can summon dead things and maybe in 4th job they can have like an army of the dead skill
BaM's already kinda pull that off

@TS Make a Wild Hunter, they have a skill that can capture any or some monsters in Maple world and summon them against other monsters!... the only bad thing is you can only summon one at a time.
Kanna in KMS?
Kanna is a JMS class and it isn't a summoner. It's a Diviner.

summoner class:
1st job can draw other monsters and befriend them to attack with them like wild hunters/ familiars combined. the difference is that you can control them like an evan. at job one you can use 3 attacks, 2nd job 4 attacks, and so on.
3rd job splits to transformer and summoner. one can transform into multiple monsters which have their own individual skills ect. and the other does stuff similar to the 1st job only they will have to manipulate more than one monster to do some awesome combos. so like you have 2 evan type monsters, 1 summon that does its on thing like frostprey ect. and one summon on the ground like corsair octopus thing. so yeah it would be like crazy combos and stuff. it would kinda be like pokemon now that i think about it only you have like 5 monsters around you, 2 of which you are controlling with keys (monster 1 keys and monster 2 keys) and on your keyboard it would look like the phantoms impeccable memory which changes to whatever skill you have it set to (in this case whatever monster you have summoned).

anyway i really like my idea of the split between transforming into monsters and actually controlling and summoning several monsters. it would be a really unique game play to have to manipulate 2 monsters at one, and combine keys to do special attacks. and as for the transform thing, how cool would it be to transform and have theoretically endless skills. and some monsters would be harder to transform into or befriend. the ideas for this type of class are endless. i would definitely see this as like a mage/ pirate class. maybe the mage equal of a cannoneer/ dual blade. i dont think there is one of those sub adventurers for mages yet right? idk but it would be really cool!

Nexon is already starting to run out of ideas, give it time and they'll use this idea!

Almost every class can summon some stuff, but i'm guessing you're talking about a full-on summoning class like Yuna in final fantasy 10-first thing i thought of. so that being said it would seem very similar to an evan in maple comparison only you'd have a few more options on what to summon.

.........give it a year....

A class that is mainly based on summons seems boring. You just summon and let them attack while you sit back seems meh....
