Asian fashion question

Hey guys, so I'm a dude whose thinking about buying some asian clothing from websites such as yesstyle and sneakoutfitters.

I have read that asian clothing is smaller than american clothing. My issue here is, in American clothing, I wear a small, and even that is sometimes too big for me (for example, the casual shirts I buy in small cover a large portion of my "butt pockets" on my pants), and so i opt to buy XS when the shirt i want is in that size (rarely is though:/ However, when I find the clothing in XS, it fits perfectly, but i can live with S clothing aswell). Knowing that information, should I opt to buy a medium, or a large? I read that you should add atleast one size more when going from American to Asian clothing, and apparently adding two sizes more is ideal in many circumstances.

Given this information, do you think I am safe going for medium, or should I hit up a large?
Side info: I am an extremely skinny 5 foot 5 arab bro

PS: Anyone know some good asian clothing websites for males? I have heard bad and good things about the two I intend on using so I'm open to other sites aswell

Thank you so much for any help!

Find the measurements for shirts if you can, should be the first step. Online clothes shopping is hell if you like a good fit (unless tailoring is an option), try do anything you can to make sure you buy the appropriate size. In general, sizes in USA/Canada are indeed +1 compared to other parts of the world, so yeah, I'd wager your best bet would be a small size.

I've heard the quality of clothes from these sites are terrible and that they're meant to fit people with an "asian frame". Remember that most people who live in asia are usually shorter and skinnier than people here in the US/Canada.

aha guys, I'm not after the K-pop style. I mean, of course the clothing I am buying has the "asian feel" to it, but it in no way is as flashy or as unique as some of the k-pop celebrities.
