well w/ a 184 matk vip wand and about 35% int im able to do like 200k per hit critical/phantom on a monster with illusion, which means yes they are good at bossing/mobbing, once u get flame wheel u are set to go at lhc, and even better if u can kill them fast.
And i didnt even go past 1.5b for all this

a word of advice, use most if not all sp on the ones that boost your magic attack and stuff don't worry about the attack skills, the low level ones become obsolete when you get earthquake and flame and flame wheel etc.
I dont have nx for mastery books or am I funded but,I can get some books from my guildes
Definitely worth it. Fun quests, cool skills, they are strong, sweet mount, dragon blink, good bossers and mobbers. My main and my favorite class.
