Why are Ua i/l considered bad?
so well i wanted to make one and like i read a few post and like they all say you shouldnt make it. why is it so bad? i mean i have a mihale thats going to be 120+ and imna make a ua so whats so bad about it?
i mean either that or a UA corsair or UA bowmaster.

well i have like 500m but i wouldnt be spending it all on the mage. i would spend about 50-100 till i decide its worth main-ing.
i didnt pick it becasue people said it was good/bad i wanted it because of cl

I wouldn't say that UA I/L is bad, I would say a UA Mage is bad.
@Arcana27961 but i/l have cl which is the only reason why im making the ua. oh also i probally dont have enough money to buy clothes so the brilliant empress is a + for me

An E-Staff/Wand has no effect on DoT. Only the initial hit of Flame Gear would be affected.
A UA I/L isn't bad, it's just not the best choice if you want to use Flame Gear. I/L have no need for FG since Ice Demon and Glacier Chain are much better choices to activate Storm Magic, and DoT is really weak by itself (even F/Ps wouldn't bother with DoT if Mist Eruption didn't exist). Make a UA I/L if you like the class though.
@LoliconShotz ...as in full empress set? or at least a set of 5? and what else do they need? o_o i have like 6% int earrings T_T i can craft the rest i guess.

well this would be my first mage so ive been using a scg till now so i guess i would make a umm %int glove?

@Chubsin i mean i wouldnt even use a ele staff. i would use a reverse and then move to empress

I'm assuming because you can't make full use of an E-staff or something along those lines. I think Flame Gear would have lower damage if you used the e-staff that adds damage for ice/lightning.
