I wont sympathize anymore
I can't stand my girlfriend all she does is complain, and get depressed over nothing, seriously I want to take her to Africa or a slum in India and give her something to be depressed about, all she does is attention w-h-o-r-e on tumblr on how horrible her life is and how she has it so hard I need some ways to set her straight because she's asking for it.

Give us some examples of how exactly she manages to put herself in the dumps than we can maybe find some sort of intricate plot to set her straight.

If she doesn't change, your relationship might end up more of a "responsibility" than a relationship... good luck if you decide to stay. Even if you do leave her, you can try to be her friend, the friend that cheers her up. That way you won't have to take on a major role or cheering her up as much as a boyfriend would.
That sounds like my mom. Getting depressed/angry over little comments that means nothing, whenever she is upset, she digs up old stories from ages ago that hurt her..seriously
I'd stay away from those people if possible. Sometimes I feel like I really need to run out of the house >.<
Well everyone has problems.. Her problems shouldn't be insignificant because it's not as life threatening as someone else's problems. Try to make her see things in a more positive way.. Make her feel good.. Or if you'd rather not deal with her break up with her.. It's all up to you
