Quick question about BaMs, Evans, and Empress Blessing

How much do mages - well, BaMs and Evans in particular - benefit from the m. att boost from Empress Blessing and Blessing of Fairy?

I haven't played within the magician class since pre-Big Bang, and I'm interested in starting up a BaM or Evan over the next few weeks. The problem is, I only have one free character slot. The advantages to making this BaM/Evan (perhaps both) on this account means level 24 Empress Blessing as well as level 12 Blessing of Fairy from my CK, but I'm a little wary of spending a valuable slot on a character that I may or may not end up playing in the long run. So I was thinking I should make this BaM/Evan on a spare account with 0 Blessing, but I'm not sure if I'm better off with or without the Blessing.
