What did I do wrong? Equipping empress gear
I used an advanced dex potion for +60 dex and easily equipped all my empress gear. However, when the potion wore off all of it was taken off. Why did this happen? While the potion was still in effect, I had like 240 dex, which would've been 180 if you take out the potion. The empress equips require 170 dex.
What did I do wrong? I feel like I'm missing something very simple

Duh... cause the empress itself has Dex...
What Ace987 is trying to say is that the stats of the Empress gear don't stay if the secondary stat is not able to hold everything pre-wearing it.
The equipment does not sustain itself.
Go outside, wait a few days and you won't have to worry about the secondary stat.
