So I finally got Assassins Creed

Here is my funny experience:

Yesterday I woke up at 7 thinking about trading in my MW2 and MW3 since I don't really play them anymore, and wanted to trade in for something I could actually learn or enjoy. So I decided to run to Play n Trade, which is about 1.5 miles away from each other. I got there at like 7:15, and was disappointed to find out they open at 10, sadly I didn't know what to do so I just walked back to my neighbor's swimming pool and worked out there as usual. Until around 8:30 I walked my way home and right before I open my door, and I questioned myself:" Shall I really give up? Am I afraid of not being able to get back home on time so I'll be late to work?" Then suddenly I'm motivated and ran all the way to Play n Trade again and it was like 9, so I just hanged around for a while until I decided to get some breakfast from the local diner, and finally got my AC2, brotherhood, and revelations (they didn't have AC1 and I don't have enough money to pre-order AC3).

When I came back home, my dad wasn't happy about my lateness, as I would've imagined. So I asked him if I could get a day off (haven't got one since June 1 ) and he was okay with that. You couldn't tell how happy I was the entire day, but I didn't play the game until 8:30 at night 'cause I was chilling all day at the swimming pool.

But yeah now comes to my first experience of the game: Through the machine Animus 2.0, this guy Desmond Miles was able to trace back to his ancestor's memory, Ezio, who had a crazy lifestyle: started out having fight with a group of people (gang fight I guess?), met his brother, didn't have enough money to see the doctor 'cause he spent all on women and wine <3, and the two race parkour at the middle of night, paid a surprise visit with his girlfriend? Climb up to her window like a ninja, had an affair until next day her dad found out and called the guard to hunt him, on his way back fighting the guards, he was tasked by his father to deliver a letter for him.

Pretty awesome, I wish my life could be like that.

What you think?

I've only played Assassin's Creed 2 and Revelations. Haven't gotten too far in the 2nd and stopped in Revelations when Desmond wakes up. I would play them again but I'm too busy to finish them.

I quite liked both storylines and doing little missions for everyone. Taking a detour to walk around the cities was great as I was allowed to put off the story for a while. Exploring and collecting the extras kept me occupied for hours~ However, the games are very violent and made me think 'why do I have to kill them?' and 'can't this be solved peacefully?'.
Murdering your targets does have its benefits sometimes, but it's just for personal advantage. Oh, then there are the times when killers come after you. The first time I had to sneak around resulted in the guards finding me since I just started the game and was inexperienced. I ended up running away and accidentally jumped off a wall and into the water. I'm just glad they stopped following me after giving up. The notoriety was annoying; every time a guard saw me I had to run or else violence would attract more passing guards.
My favourite feature would be the hired followers because they went almost everywhere I did. Disapproved of the Courtesans and Romanies though. My Romanies kept going off with guards every time I randomly passed one. I paid money for them to hide me and they go off without completing their purpose... >.< The Thieves would have to be the best as they are smart enough to climb on rooftops and fight at the same time. Unfortunately, they didn't like me very much and preferred suicide from rooftops and jumping into water.
Revelations introduced these people that grab you from behind and try to kill you with a knife. In my opinion, it isn't a nice time and place to live in. The aspects you stated about Ezio's life are only a minor part when his life is constantly on the line. Half of his family was murdered and there is an extremely low chance of survival if someone else stepped into his shoes. I doubt you would want to live his life after progressing the story.

BTW, I hated the start of Assassin's Creed 2. </3 Why did that even have to be put into the story? I would be happy with just an action/adventure game rather than any of the yucky stuff added. No wonder it's rated MA... It would be best if I didn't start on what Sophia wears.

PS: Sorry if I spoiled anything.

Playing all day wouldn't be boring? I would rather play little by little to sorta conclude what I did in the game.
