Evan Character card
So I've been trying to clear the dojo but i keep having mana problems..
My "solution" that I'm thinking of is making an evan for the 70% chance to heal mana character card.
My question is is it worth it? (training the new character to S rank) Will it help me clear the dojo easier?
Does it REALLY have a 1-min cool-down to proc the really small mana heal? (somewhere said it was 10 seconds)

@Yathos: though i heard u get the effects from the familiar
with my S rank evan card, i heal MP almost every attack.
this 1 minute cooldown thing is either:
1. for the double chance
2. doexn't exist
The way i've been clearing it is:
Finish a stage early
Take out familiar that heals mana
Put it away
continue until full-ish mana or the stage is almost out of time
(Sometimes this method is REALLLLY annoying because my familiar glitches me and i can't attack or use skills so i fail)
However, even if i go in without ANY set effects my mp doesn't recover. Do you just mean between stages? the rest room place?

You can use familiars, but all they will do is attack. Their abilities are all nullified.

Love4Romance, if you are wearing empress and then take it off when you have time.. would your mana recover quickly? Because I find it hard to believe i need to get a special set of gear to dojo. So the vibe I'm getting is it is NOT worth making?

I personally don't regret spending one character slot on my Evan. Without using empress set effects, I could finish Mu Gong with near full MP on my Aran (note that this was before the recent change that made MP recovery much much faster inside Dojo, as long as you're not using set effects).
@justsofly If you're talking about the MP recovery being screwed over by empress set effects, I personally can say this is true. I go in with empress set effects and eat up my MP. Then, I have to change all my equips (leaving only my empress weapon, meaning I have no set effects) for one boss. By the time I'm finished with said boss, my MP is back full, and I switch back to empress. I guess TS could do this as well.
IMO it is worth it, the 1min CD is only if it procs multiple times. Meaning it can potentially heal you 12%+ for S rank Evan card, but then again I'm a mage and we have massive amounts of MP that the 12% makes a huge difference.
I've barely used recovery aura in dojo ever since the card system was released, only when I've been hit numerous times while tanking or if I get dispelled and hit before I recast MG since it heals HP as well.
@Love4Romance Is that even valid? I've never heard of that before. Maybe I'll try it my gloves are about to expire.
@squire7766 I can confirm myself that it was never bugged, or else none of my characters would have a need for MP pots unless I get 1/1'd.

Well as i recall the skill was bugged and constantly healed mana as long as you attacked.
However this may have been patched; but i can't confirm it.
Sadly it does have a 1min cool down. Also, the reason why you have mana problems is because you might be using pieces of empress gear. In Dojo, you're suppose to regen 400 mp per 10 seconds. But if you wear ANY piece of empress gear, your regen glitches down to 4 mp per 10 seconds. Lots of people have MP issues due to this problem.
PRetty sure its one minute.
