Help me ask my girlfriend out to the Winter Formal

For my school Winter Ball is coming up in about 10 days and even though it's a given that my girlfriend and I are going together, I still want to have a romantic way of asking her. We're both Seniors and the theme of this dance is "Under the city lights." Problem is, I am tootally not creative, but I want to flatter her like crazy LOL.

We both share lockers, so I'm thinking of putting some type of design inside or something. But that's just my first idea, I need help expanding my ideas.

She also really loves the movie Tangled, so maybe I can make a bunch of tiny lanterns with LED lights in them and put them in my locker? I'm not sure, please give me your opinions guys. =]

Dude. You're a secret agent.
Steal her heart man.
Make her remember you
LOL Oh I would. One of my other ideas was to get a Pokeball and put a note inside it saying "I choose you! Will you go to Winter PokeBall with me?" LOL it's my safety-net idea but I want something a little more romantic.
You should find out where her classes are from her classes all the way to lunch. Add clues in each of her classes (make sure she knows its for her like put a balloon or something near her seat with a note; or like you said, a Tangled theme balloon?) and make her solve the clues to find you at lunch. And you'll ask her out in front of all dem peoples! And then she won't say no. But don't make the thing too hard...or else she'll never find you, lol!

edit: It would be a plus if you somehow incorporate memorable moments/ inside jokes you two share into those clues.
Now that's a very considerable idea. LOL Maybe I'll do that but..I kind of already walk her to her classrooms. Also our school is a bit small and it's a piece of cupcake to find me if she actually looks. I know she'd be wondering where I am. It's a great idea, though. Maybe somehow I can make it work

Honestly, I would write a thoughtful poem but my voice sounds like crap. I'm..at a genetic disadvantage when it comes to speech LOL. I exaggerate but still, no poems or lyrics or anything like that.

i've had friends who been asked out in a way similar to yours and they honestly can't remember what the person did.
Ahh, I suppose it's the "in the moment" type of thing but it's still worth the effort. For me, at least.
hey qurl.. wanna go the winter formal with me?

i dont' know why u need to do anything fancy.. you're just asking her to a dance. Now if u were asking her to marry you, that would be a completely different story.
It's to make it a bit more memorable and sentimental. Plus it's to make things exciting, she already knows she'll go with me but I don't want to make this seem like a casual date.

@above: Ahh she can't go to prom.
