They're end game in the sense that you'll need them for equipment that doesn't already have base attack on them, such as Sweet water accessories (Eye/Face) or a LGR.
If I had all the money in the world I'd gamble it all on Incredible Chaos Scrolls of Goodness, Protects and Shields for them and Return scrolls
Then I would spam iCoGs until they add 5attack per scroll and return scroll everything else <5atk
Gollux Green Coin Scrolls are the best

Gollux scrolls are just preparation for the real fun; Chaos Scrolls.
Endgame? You slap one on and pray your chaoses do something good.
