Opinion NL revamp.

I am writing this because i am SUPER EXCITED FOR NLs! AND YOU SHOULD TOO! Rumors are circulating that this will hit GMS as early as Feb or late April?

I could care less about other classes (who do not have NLs) revamps and what they think of us.

I honestly do not understand why NLs are not happy campers. This revamp seem to improve us by.. A LOT. You are either one of those 'old fashion' players or greedy players who compare your class to others and complain -_-

And here are the reasons why i'm a happy camper:

1. Avenger taken out - actually it's replaced and another mobbing skill it looks like. And for the better!
2. Haste has passive effect! that's more speed!
3.A lot of skills take less points to max, due to new skills! New skills ftw!
4. We get a rush skill! - havnt seen it in action, i hope it's nothing like 'ninja storm' ( what a sad KB skill it WAS)
5. Another star! Quadthrow = stronger.
6. Star expert adds 30 atk and Dark Serenity adds 35 atk and passive 20% monster def ignored? wow... if that's not buff idk what is.
7. WE GET AN AOE? lol
8. NO MORE ROCKS?
9. THE MOST I LIKED ABOUT THIS REVAMP WAS THE REMOVAL OF USELESS SKILLS!
- Shadow Resistance deleted - good skill, but im sure it's replaced.
-Meso Up deleted - relying on this for funding is a joke.
-Shadow Meso deleted - was always a joke.
-Ninja ambush deleted- .... -_-
-Ninja Storm deleted... -_-
-disorder - was useful for balrog soloing at low lvl... but considered useless.

And the list goes on! Every change was for the better, and if you can't see that... you can't be a true NL! For those who prefer "stars being thrown one at a time" are probably hermits. Because Quadthrow seem to be the same as old TT but even better! And thats such a silly thing to be butthurt about!

Playing a sin back in the days before revamps and Ascension and Big Bangs, I'd agree sins and hermits weren't the most interesting classes to start with. This update by far will change everyone's opinion of that because sins were mildly tinkered with, and now it's basically a complete overhaul.

I understand you want to motivate the sin community (not everyone is a NL, and wealthy at that) but you cannot change every single person's opinion about what's coming, everyone is entitled to what they think and they have the right to express it openly. Not everyone plays the game the same way. "Nuff said.

As far as the skill changes go, some people grow accustomed to what's there because it's been there so long. TT's spam of stars won't be the same although it's moving down to 3rd job, there are now 2 types of Venomous Star, and say bye bye to 15 min onyx apples. These are just some of the things people don't want to see, but change is change.

There are positive changes, which I can't wait to see, such as an NL with the power of an AOE, more diverse skill sets, and the removal of the much annoying summoning rocks. This change won't be permanent so no one should think this change is set in stone, but it's awfully nice for Nexon to give us this kind of spotlight.

Give the revamp a fair look, if it disgusts you, find something that interests you, or take a break from your sin (or thief). I know GMS copies KMS almost completely but there's a small chance that Nexon America may decide to leave some old skills, or alter some of the new ones. We all have to just wait and see.

I'm as excited as you are. Especially seeing how fast we attack now! My only real beef (aside from alchemist/drain thing) is the wind talisman animation. I wish it were more 'sudden strong gust of wind'-ish, than laser-beam-like, the way it looks now. It's just my opinion, but it just doesn't seem to fit our look as well. Nevertheless, it looks like a very useful skill; and in the broad scheme, that's a pretty minor gripe anyways.

I like that you're looking at the positive side of this revamp. I'm not happy that they're changing my play style as I absolutely love Hermits and Nightlords. I'm a little disappointed about Avenger/Alchemist/Drain, but I'd like to see how things look after Tespia. I'm keeping an open mind and sticking with my thief till the end, I just hope I can still enjoy it the way I always have.

I think he was talking about TT and QT, and he hasn't offended anyone. Hes meaning if you really like the NL's you should stick to it no matter what happens.

The animation doesn't suck for QT (Could have done better) but
Anyway, this is still in the Tespia stage, the animations/skills might change once it's released fully.

I can't argue with your opinion of game play. If you liked the whole stand and shoot rather than diverse play (which seems like) then more power to you!

Again, can you tell me where you are getting the info about losing drain/alch the rest of teh 12 skills youre talking about? because the only skills i know that are removed/added are in that link i posted above. As far as I'm concerned being a 19x NL; skills that are removed are either replaced or was useless. And that's not opinion, its fact from experience.

I do like alchemist. It's not as unique since citizens have somewhat the same ability. Again, I strongly believe the change is for the better.

If you really think about it, actually don't even think hard; look... 2 - 3 - 4; it's inevitable. It makes sense but if you were wanting something more 'creative' what would it be? because for someone who 'likes' the game play of throwing stars, i dont see what could possibly change to make it better other than ofcourse, adding another!

umm, why did you cap locks 'look'? assuming I did not read people's opinion before making mine? First of all, I don't need an opinion to have one. Secondly, I could care less about what other classes think of NL. Thirdly, if they are NLs making negative response, this is the right thread for them to read!

this is just me trying to pump up the NL community about my excitement about this revamp! Only experienced NLs can truely understand what this revamp means for us.
