It makes me physically sick. I get such bad headaches whenever someone comes near me wearing any type of Axe. I had a friend that had the same problem. Some of the d-bags at my school think wearing Axe gives them an excuse not to shower. You can not cover overwhelming BO with cologne, it makes you smell even worse.

The only girls who like axe are 13yr olds who have never smelled real cologne

Same here, i have met a couple people that say they dont like it but they only seem to act negatively when it's oversprayed.

For whatever reason people who use it seem to overspray it over their B.O. Scents are not that great either.
I like colognes that smell fresh, clean and light.

I dont spray hardcore over me every day

I do 1-3 spritz in the morning after my shower (i use pheonix) a lot of people say they like it.

If you go overboard then its really bad but if you only do a little bit then its not so bad

Thankfully today was the first time I've ever heard of this product, I've never smelt it before but from I can deduce it smells like teenager desperation.

I have experienced an axesplosion before. Somebody's axe bottle breaks and the stuff runs wild. Within 30 seconds everyone in the room is overwhelmed by a terribly strong odor.

I have Axe (Pheonix) deoderant. Smells pretty good to me. Used to have old spice but my family says it smells bad so I got a different one.

I wouldn't say they smell bad, but I'm a guy and I think Axe is just too popular and mainstream for my tastes...

Axe is WAY WAY too strong. The commercials that show the guy spraying one continuous spray over his entire chest, underarms and neck, is just....over kill. If anything, spray in the air in front of you and just walk into it....that goes for any type of body spray. If you want to smell nice, get some actual cologne. Tim Mcgraw southern blend, and Ushers brand smell nice. Just remember guys, please use sparingly. You don't need to dump the entire bottle on yourself to smell nice.

For me I think it smells horrible because I don't like the smell of colognes plus Axe's scent is pretty strong.

Anyways:

1. Because Axe users tend to use 10x the amount necessary, creating this strong god awful obnoxious smell.
2. It's one of those scents that can't cover up sweat scent, instead mixing with it. The result is not pretty.

Pro Tips:
1. If you can't use Axe "correctly", don't use it.
2. If you want a smell that girls like. Spray Febreze on your clothes instead of using perfume.

Because of the bad marketing: those commercials that show that men who use Axe gets the women. Only teenagers use it.

Does the stick even project? I'm completely basing it off the spray from a while back. Pretty sure I moved on from Axe after Clix came out.

It's a decent smelling body spray, but I think most guys that wear it tend to go too heavy on the scent which makes people dislike axe in general. A good scent is great, but it should only be noticeable if you are really close to the person wearing it (like you give them a hug type of close). If people can smell it from a distance then you went too heavy, which happens a lot with body spray lol.

You kidding? Phoenix is the best underarm scent. I don't like the spray though.

I spray for personal use. I just pull the top of my shirt to take a whiff because it smells so good.

It smells terribad. It reeks of teenage desperation. I don't think anyone likes that smell.
I mean, seriously, if any guy falls for those cheesy commercials and thinks he's going to get tons of chicks swarming to him because of that nasty-smelling stuff, he has a hardcore case of desperate and is in for a reality check.
tldr: Use Axe as a girl deterrent or to have them tell you all day how bad you smell. I seriously think BO smells better than Axe. </3

Edit: @Boss: Dude, I said that I hated it for the way it smelled. And yes, even after a football game, where the opposing team used the girl's locker room, it reeked, but it didn't smell as bad as Axe. I have smelled both. I never said I didn't like the way it was advertised, I just said that if anyone was gullible enough to believe it attracted girls, they had to be desperate. You obviously missed the first thing I said, which was, "It smells terribad."
