Arans are nowhere near as strong compared to Dual Blades... Dual Blades the 2nd best bossing class in existence after Xenon..... Aran is the second weakest warrior after hyper skills.

What gear do you have?

All a matter of preference. With 1bil funding, you'll see much higher numbers on Aran, but I don't think you'll necessarily out-damage a DB. DBs are quite strong with minimal funding also, they're also much more mobile and have better survivability. But, if Aran "hurts your fingers," don't even consider it, because you won't find it fun.

Well for the bossing aspect an Aran could do better damage but a db could kill the boss faster just because of the number of attacks it does still not sure what to choose

You guys are so wrong... DB beats Aran in DMG, agility, survivability and is WAY better for bossing. Aran is one of the slowest and clumsiest classes at the moment, you can't do most buffs or skills in air, there's no flash jump, OSFBBB combo forces you to stay still for too long and you cannot stop it fast enough in case of damage reflect, nearly no status resistance and the HP isn't that good either. DB however can get 100% avoid relatively easily, which makes them awesome for bossing. They are way more agile and deal more hits per second than Aran. Dmg situation will get a bit better when the cap is raised to 50mil but until then DB is better in that department too.

Just my few cents as level 200 Aran who has been playing this job as main char ever since Arans were released.

If you're gonna play Aran, Invest in a gamepad. WHOLE new play experience. Loved my aran with it. Also DB is fun! Made one to 4th job with just Tot to help me out. I enjoy it.

People. Please consider bossing potential as TS has mentioned. DB are undoubtedly better at bossing lvl 150+ than Arans even with just 1b funding. Mobbing wise, i'm not too sure, perhaps Arans are stronger.

I would say aran mainly cuz u have 1b funding if u had more u should go with DB they have good mobility and good dps but arans r strong with less funding

Don't even listen to this guy. 15b only hitting 200k per line? What did you spend all your money on? A one piece 30% item and everything else clean?
DB's are indeed stronger after hyper skills. However, their potential does not show till later on (150 ish) whereas Arans reach a climax of power shortly after 4th job. Not to mention that DB's have much more survivability (resistance, ridiculous avoid rate) and don't need to get those annoying skill books.

16% luk earrings - 1.3b (has +15 luk too)
evo rings & 6% luk temp ring - evo rings -900m == temp ring - 300m
nova cape (17 att 30 all stat) +6% luk - 1.5b
roughly 14b. (without including the worth of the katara. which is 2.5-3b)
What would you recommend I have bought instead of these equips? & yeah, the gloves were probably a pointless waste of an extra 2b or so just for 10% more luk & a couple more w.as
I didn't have any more mesos to buy anything, or to even merch. I was in debt to a couple of people.

Pressing harder on the key doesn't make your attacks stronger, you know. You could just tap Atk.

There are a lot of great polearms for very cheap in the market at the moment (in gazed at least), also Aran just looks better. Nordic/Ice/Wolves/Bears. A giant polearm weilding Hero. Way more badass than those narutards.

If your fingers hurt just by pressing keys, then you're doing it wrong.

Arans. You will get the most out of ur money. Unless you decide to super fund, Aran is the best.

I have an aran, and I love it more than any other character ever. I miss it. Sob.

Also, Arans are a lot stronger, and I believe they're pretty good at bossing. With your small amount of funding, you're probably better off to make an aran. 1b doesn't go far with a DB, sadly.
