@leerooo I too have made my own Dk to almost 115 now since BB. But I have to agree with @MomoSnipes on this arguement. And I've test the speed of both GS and SB. SB is a little faster than GS. Also, you need to go into these factors:
SB(+EB): 250% Damage on 6 monsters = 1500% damage total.
GS: 300% damage on 3 monsters = 900% total damage.
Both will get replaced in 3rd job anyways so it's all about prefrance. There's no right or wrong in this disagreement but instead it's about prefrances.
Personally, myself and @MomoSnipes went with EB. You went with GS. There is no wrong.
get ground smash in second job, skip enhanced basics or get it at a very low level with whatever SP you have remaining, ground smash is very useful until level 70, where it is replaced by dragon fury, and enhanced basics is USELESS in the face of something like sacrifice
