Im Kinda Pissed
So, after the Rise Against update, i created a battle mage and i have a kms account (legit i can prove if you want). Anyway, my main is a lvl 137 Ice and Lightning and I've realized that almost every other mage class is better than I/L, the new battle mages have more range, damage, sustainability, and better buffs, while luminous is just unfair, thoughts?

I'd be surprised with that.
Some I/L in Broa said he xfered his stuff over to his BaM. Says he was hitting close to cap with his I/L, but is barely scratching 300-400K per FB line. Iunno if he was using all possible buffs on both, but i'm assuming he did, because if he wasn't, it wouldn't make much sense to compare them.

Everyone's pissed with nexon these days.
How do Hypers change this? Is it still roughly the same?
I think so. I'm not sure if F/P and I/L will still be equal though.
Currently, assuming all classes hit cap: BaM > both Arch Mages (they're about equal) > Evan > Bishop.
I'm not sure how it goes in an unfunded situation, but I/L aren't at the top. Maybe 3rd or 4th.
I played battle mages since big bang. You're complaining to me how every single mage beats the I/L? Give me a break. After the pirate revamp, even buccs and bishops had higher dpm than battle mage... >_>
BaMs are overpowered, but Luminous really isn't. I don't get how you came up with the idea that "almost every other mage class is better than I/L."
BaMs are only overpowered if you fund them accordingly, like @bleve mentionned, if all mages are hitting cap, this is the only time when BaMs outshine other mages.
And they require more funding to do so.
You forgot about Evans (not involving the damage cap).
Aren't I/L Mages the strongest Mage right now? It's either I/L or F/P.
FB's range got nothing on CL.

lol?
Luminous sucks.
The only time they're good is when Equilibrium is active. Any other time they're on par with Bishops.
This, you've only been focusing on the DPM with their spammable Absolute Kill, which only lasts a few seconds.

You know its not that Luminous and other mages are unfair, I/L just sucks
BaMs have more range than I/Ls. Just no.
BaMs do more damage than I/Ls. DPM charts beg to differ.
The only thing that I would consider unfair is that Luminous has high mastery while most of the other mage classes don't.
life is unfair/
luminous are as balanced as evans currently are
every other job, esp. thief, just sucks
nexon is greedy
Wtf? Luminous is quite a balanced character
