Portal 2 in schools?

Yeah this is kinda old, but Valve announced a few months back something called Steam for Schools, where teachers would get free copies of Portal 2 as well as level makers & sample levels. Do you guys think this is a good idea? Could it be expanded upon?

Maybe it is a good idea because Portal games exercise the problem-solving part of your brain which students could use to advance their own learning. But maybe it isn't a good idea because students could abuse it and get an excuse to not do actual work. I guess it depends on who the user is and their intentions.

Games and school = nono.

I still remember the horrid days of Math Circuses 1, 2, 3, 4.

Well, Portal 2 sure is mind-boggling, but I'd see it as playtime rather than learning.

Don't get me wrong, I'd totally play Portal than do school work.
