I don't mean to bring up this again, but I do believe you said more than just that. Did you not give information as proof that it was your account? That's what I saw in the SS you posted anyways.

Perhaps I should have been more clear. You can't JUST say "Hey Nexon this is my account can I have my email changed?"
As in you can't ONLY say "Hey Nexon this is my account can I have my email changed?"

Not sure why they closed your ticket though, but Nexon will ask you a couple of questions you have to answer about your account. (old email, nexon id, your fullname, bday etc). Some questions might be important to have a matching answer (full name, bday) and some do not (secret questions).

So I hope you remembered the answers and I hope you used real information about yourself back then, if not the chances are small your request will be accepted.
And there is a possibility they will ask you to fax them your ID, your parents ID lol.

I didn't have to fax anything and I was able to change the email.

This is the ticket I submitted to Nexon and they will ask you question which you have to answer most of them. These are the questions. The security questions are the one you were told to answered when creating a nexon/ wizet maplestory account.

What kind of proof would I need?

You're going to have to somehow send them proof so that they know it's your account. You can't just log onto it and be like "Hey Nexon this is my account can I have my email changed?" Any hacker can do that.

Therefore I can't click on that "confirmation code" of theirs.

You can change the email on your own without them
