What is college life like?

Just interested. Wanna know how the classes are, the social life, how often you go to class, how many times a week, how you deal with living on your own, etc.

I used to have reasonable amount of free time, but now it's just class, eat, research, homework, sleep.

Waste of time if you can't adjust your sleeping schedule.

Study almost every day besides Friday. Free time you are either at the gym or doing something like research, part time, volunteer, or hanging out with friends. Go out Friday and Saturday night, and sometimes Thursdays. Classes are way harder than h.s ap courses. You don't get a ton of "homework", but its up to you to find out what you need to know. No prof is going to hold your hand to help you pass. Most classes don't take attendance. Just get to know as many people as you can and befriend your professors.

It's pretty easy going so far..about 3 hours of work each week. Maybe 6~10 if I have an essay or computer science assignment due that week.
SOOOO much free time, but I spend it unwisely ;c
Would advise joining a club or something.
And like the others said, expect drugs and alcohol and lots of notices about sexual assaults.

I'm tired all the time because of 8am classes. I've only missed 1 lecture so far.
Social life is aiight, clubs are a good way to know people.
I cook for myself, usually in bulk which lasts me a while. I have a bunch of frozen up food in case I'm too lazy to do anything.

I go 5 times a week and honestly, I find that transportation eats up a lot of time, especially since I'm in a high school program to take both college and high school classes. It's a hassle, but the commute is a great place to do your homework. It is recommended that you carpool though, because it will ease the burden.

Overall, expect it to be a bit easier than high school (depending on how many classes you have a semester in college), and a lot of fun.

The teachers, now "Professors", don't condescend to you, or treat you like a child. They're usually really nice, and great people to talk to, especially outside of classes.

Most classes you take (at least in my experience with my major) will only meet one to two times a week, so homework isn't due on a daily basis, more on a weekly basis. That generally means you have a LOT of free time. Like, sometimes you'll only need to go to class 3 days a week, while the rest is free for you to do whatever. Aside from that, homework (except for in intense majors like Math/English/Doctorate stuff) isn't all that bad.

If you're doing a hardcore major though, or you're trying to graduate uber quick, expect it to be harder than High School, with a lot LESS free time.

I love that it's like a fresh start. Nobody knows each other. Great opportunity to meet new people. You can fix your schedule so that school and work don't clash.

yous class schedule will depend on what classes you're taking, and what section. Unlike high school, you're free to choose your own schedule.
you can cram all your classes in 1-2 day, for example (not recommended)

You will like sleeping better than sex once you get adjusted.

Bro, it depends on where you go and what kind of life you chose for yourself. Expect a lot of drugs, sex and fun though, unless you make an effort to avoid it.
