coat (pl. Scrubs) is a blouse and loose work shorter than the one worn over other clothes. In Europe, the traditional garb of peasants and workers until the early xxth century.
In hospital, the coat is kind of over that bears the surgeon during the operation. It is plastic and packed in two bags: one is not sterile and is opened by a nurse. The second is sterile and affected only by the surgeon who was in advance, washed his hands. The suit seeks the back with buttons buttoning a nurse. The surgeon then folds a sort of triangle of fabric above the closure so that everything is well sealed.

Is there any specific name for a such coat? I got told it was "Smock", but from the picture I found on Google, it doesn't look like this at all.
