Are you truly an old Ms player? Riddle Quiz 2

For those who wanted to see this first Quiz, here it is: Are you truly an old MS Player: Riddle Quiz #1
The second in a series of fun Maple Riddle Quizzes. This doesn't really prove anything, and I hope you guys have fun. These questions are all related specific things from the old MS, and because they are riddles, answers won't be Googleable. This will also take some smarts. Solve the riddles/questions, or describe what they are referring to. If you can get 70% or more without any knowledge other than your own, you can call yourself a true old school Mapler. Hope you guys have fun stirring up old Maple memories!

I believe that this quiz is much easier than the first, and has a few questions that aren't all that old school. I don't think there are any real stumpers in this quiz. Good luck!

BONUS: For those whose path was pure and bright, for those whose life was bathed in light - death to the dead was quick, although, for other kinds it came quite slow. SOLUTIONS
1. If you killed enough orange mushrooms, you were man enough to have this. (SOLVED by FreeWii4Mii)
This one is really quite easy. You could get a razor from turning in Orange Mushroom caps on Maple Island. This was hinted at by the words "man enough", although that probably wasn't even necessary to solve this one.

2. One for all, or four plus one. Those early to rise, were almost none. Their choice of colors - black and red - strewn ever tightly round their head. (SOLVED by MissTheo)
+1 to all stats, or four stats given +1. Those early to play were almost none (beta). The Mark of Beta Headband was black with a red maple leaf, giving plus one to all four main stats.

3. If strength wasn't your strong-suit, and you were low on funds, you put one of these in your yard to keep the monsters away. (SOLVED by hyperfire7)
If you weren't a warrior and were poor, you probably couldn't afford a panlid. You'd use a wooden fence. Sorry guys, this is my least favorite of my riddles so far.

4. You wished that this would never end - while on a search for stinky fish-friend. (SOLVED by xblueskies)
The time on the last screen of Shumi's Jump Quest Part I. There was subway trained filled with blue slimes - arguably the best map for killing them - where many people would spend hours looking for the Fish Spear.

5. A double T, an S and E would leave one walking off with glee, whilst the other to the right of F3. (SOLVED by JamesCarlson)
The "Tab Tab Space Enter" scam was one where the scammer would claim that you could clone your items by putting them into the trade and pressing "Tab Tab Space Enter". The person would put out a nice item and try this, however pressing these keys would make you confirm a trade. The scammer would then quickly press accept and take your item for his own. Scammer would leave happy while you'd leave crying (F4 to the right of F3).

6. There used to be no Story in sight. Nor nexon there, one dot was all right. (SOLVED by Rastafar)
The word "sight" is a homonym with the word "site", or website. There used to be no "story" in the Maple website, and there was only one dot. Mapleglobal.com

7. You could be at a party with many friends, but you would still feel left out in the end. You always felt you were alone, your ties still weak, your group unknown. (SOLVED by Chiripaha)
The words "party" and "friends" refer to two means of gathering with people in Maple. However, guilds were not yet implemented at the time, therefore people's ties were weak, their group unknown.

8. Shumi would have been proud if you could reach the third one. (SOLVED by FreeWii4Mii)
Back in the day, people could not jump down platforms (down + jump). Getting to the third sewer drain in Kerning City was fairly tedious unless you had haste or teleport. Since Shumi makes you do jump quests, and this was a jumping challenge, "Shumi would have been proud".

9. Diagonal lines weren't nearly as smooth. (SOLVED by FreeWii4Mii)
You used to be unable to walk smoothly up stairs, you had to jump all the way up.

10. Carved from the dead, yet made from sweets, this would make you swift of feet. (OLVED by mattx0r)
The 2005/2006 Halloween Pumpkin basket was made by turning in candies that were found from weakened versions of undead monsters that spawned all across Maple.

BONUS: For those whose path was pure and bright, for those whose life was bathed in light - death to the dead was quick, although, for other kinds it came quite slow. For those whose numbers were quite low, this was one way to make yellow grow. If tied together in tight-knit team, the color red was restored by green. (SOLVED by Kinshima)
For those were Clerics, killing the undead was easy, but killing any other type of monster was quite tedious. Their damage, or numbers, were quite poor compared to the others. In old school Maple, healing other players would grant clerics EXP. Many clerics would end up training by waiting in town, partying random people (especially warriors and spearman) who had low HP, and then healing them. Thus, they could gain EXP (make the yellow grow) by healing (restoring red) by using heal (green skill effect). It didn't grant all that much EXP, but it was nice to get away from the boredom of regular training.
This is getting pathetic,
Now you have to be questioned whether your a "old mapler"
I say the true winners are those who have played back then not the fact that u get a title on your head saying "ohh look at me im a old mapler"
Nah, this is just some fun with a little "maple trash talk" thrown in, it's not really for proving anything. However, most of the questions only older Maplers could answer
make one for 09 lol?
After I run out of specific little things from older Maple, I will be making much more broad Maple riddles. You can expect Quiz 4 or 5 onward to be content related to Maple as a whole.

Good job guys, thread has been updated.
Here's some hints:
6. There used to be no Story in sight. Nor nexon there, one dot was all right.
- This question could be changed to "There used to be no Story in site"

7. You could be at a party with many friends, but you would still feel left out in the end. You always felt you were alone, your ties still weak, your group unknown.
- There are two words near the beginning of this sentence that relate to each other quite closely in this game. If you find those it won't be log before you realize what was missing in the old MS.

a little misleading because even if we were old we would still need to solve the riddles
1. (edit) actually it might be the razor or fruit knife or w/e you got from that guy on maple island
8. subway jump quest level 40 one
9. you used to have to spam jump to walk up diagonal lines.. i guess? (specifically i remember the stairs leading up to ludi tower)
You can post the answer if you know it. Also, I did say that it will also require some smarts.
1. Razor is correct.
8. A fair interpretation, but not the answer I'm looking for. It was not actually within a jump quest, but it was related to jumping.
9. Correct.

Can you make separate posts as well? That way I can actually respond in decent sized posts. Haha.
