I got the exact same problem. sometimes it just happens randomly. It always happens on boat(orbis-vic) and in bpq and certain other areas/quests.

It's not just windows 7.... every "platform?" has problems with this..

Money hoarding and ruining maple do not go hand in hand, so it's either nexon wants to make money or they don't. Don't be a child.
I crash all the time, I'm just waiting for an update to make maple fully compatible with windows 7

The "Maplestory has stopped working" thing happens to me about... once every 30 minutes to an hour.

The nexon forums have failed to acknolage this error. Please log tickets if this keeps happening to you.

Well the only problem I had was me dcing whenever i'm in the fm for say 2 minutes every time I reenter and it doesn't give me a message, just closes maple

I d/ced again this morning, and when I relogged, someone told me to put the quality on it's lowest.
Since I did that, I haven't been d/ced anymore

if you are going to blame an OS just blame windows...XP,vista,win7. Its all windows.

However, in this case we can prob. blame a mix of things. Nexon programing it to run with XP. Various stability issues with vista and Win7. and PEBKAC/PICNIC/ID-10T errors

I use XP home and I am getting the same issue. I can be playing fine then out of nowhere I get complete freeze and it closes completely with no warning just straight back to my desktop. Then I have to relaunch and its fine for the next little bit. Hope they figure it out in the next sc. >.>

I have the same issues - the screen goes black and game shuts without errors or windows. But sometimes I make it to Character select screen but then I dc as soon as I enter my PIC. Isent Nexon 2 tickets but they seem to be sending me automated replies asking me to re install and what not . All of which I have tried before I made the tickets. It is a problem on their side . It all started after the HobPQ v0.90 patch. As of now I have quitted maple because I havent been able to play it for almost a month.

And it suddenly crashes too, no log out ad. Sometimes no errors.

Yeah I got "maplestory has stopped working" occassionally as well. I'm on windows and seem to be dcing ALOT less then before though so at least its a slight improvement.

same here, crashing heaps more than before.

people with windows 7 seemed to have this problem after the v90 and v91 update. im getting the same problems and its annoying as hell. hopefuly nexon will fix this problem on a next sc or something like that.....
