Ipod help anyone?

So i have a 5th Gen. Ipod nano (The one with the video camera)

And my ipod just died ;_;
When i plug it into its charger, theres no response
When its plugged into my computer, my computer doesnt detect it, and it doesnt charge

If i ask apple to help, will they not help me because i downloaded "illegal" music? I didnt pay for it :<

Try restarting it or put it into safe mode?
For the ipod touch, it's holding the home and power button until you see an apple, and to put it into safe mode, you do the same thing but you hold the home button, and let go of the power when you see the apple.

err...i thought this was about an ipod touch LOL. not a nano! my bad LOL.

It could be a faulty cable or charger, not the iPod. It's never good to let your electronics die, it kills the battery if you need to keep recharging it after that. However if you cannot get it to work at home, go to your local Apple store and see if it works when you plug it in one of their chargers/computers.

I have somewhat of a similar problem. My iPod Video's screen has froze for like 15 minutes now. Nothing happens when I charge it or when I try restarting it. ):
