Blizzard is now snapfreeze shot
Blizzard is now officially called Snapfreeze Shot to all you Snipers and MMs. I do realise it's changed to clear up the confusion with I/L AM's Blizzard but IMO, it sounds lame and it could've been way better. Please note that we had the name Blizzard first before 4th job was introduced to MS.

Now that you mention it, I've pretty much never seen anyone mixing up the names of their skills.
It totally makes sense for rangers' 'fire shot' to be called Inferno and then later Ultimate Inferno as a counterpart to Ultimate Strafe for MMs. :L

We had Blizzard before 4th Job even came out! They could have changed I/L Mage's skill name. Marksman Unite!
Ya... It is just as rediculous as when they changed Inferno and Ultimate Inferno to Roast Shot and Ultimate Roast Shot, or something like that.
Not that this is a big issue, but it would have been better to keep Inferno and make Blizzard into something like Hailstorm, Ice Age, or Icestorm... Though these changes arent even necessary.
I honestly thought snapfreeze sounded cooler than roasting shot, which in 4th job becomes broiler shot.. However, this might just be a grass is greener on the other side thing, but roasting and broiler are pretty terrible.

Blizzard is blizzard for mages, blizzard for snipers really was just an Ice shot. I think Ice Shot would do it justice.
It doesn't matter what Nexon has decided to call then, it will always be inferno & blizzard in our hearts

It burns my ears. If you check the guide, I am protesting the change. I do still feel bad for Bowmasters though. Slightly off-topic: why in hell did Nexon think we needed Piercing-multiplier on Dragon's Breath? I mean doing 600k on my rush skill is cool but...
Also, fun fact I just learned today. The reason behind Pierce's old 7-enemy (now 9-enemy) DC is NOT because of the cap. It's because each hit of Pierce has it's own animation but [i]there is no animation in the file[/i] for the CO-induced hit.
