wow they really made the game enjoyable again

For the first time in a long time i made a new character and im amazed by the game progression. A year ago it was a massive grind with 0 quests. Now the only way to level at a low level is PQ's, quests, quests lines. I flew by 1-100 with quests and PQ's. It took a lot longer but i enjoyed it a lot more than haunted house then alien grind till 100.

Well done nexon.

Inb4 tries to get to 165, ends up rq from repetitive dimpq and evolab.

Why don't you tell that to everyone who has complained about the state of the game, including the earlier posts on this thread?

Maple was a great game but there are so many flaws that need to be addressed, and sugarcoating the problem or denying its existence isn't going to solve the problem.

Wow, I found 1-100 really boring and still do. I think 150 - 200 is more fun. # GrindLife
PQs were more fun back in the day. Now they're so damn easy. Alishar used to be a fearsome foe, people used to actually finished Romeo & Juliet pq, jump quests in PQs were challenging, etc.

Then again, this ratchet of a game is so easy now. Only thing that's hard is the pay2win aspects.
The Zero questline was certainly wonderful.

...Although without a 2x card it probably won't have been as nice.

Meanwhile I've been sitting with cat mode on, leeching my levels away even though I want to be more productive.

This is so true, they need to make the PQ's more challenging

150-180 Ahh screw this, what's there to do that's fun around here?

repeat cycle, until you figure out Nexon sucks and Maplestory is boring. Welcome to the goldfish generation.
This is actually accurate.

Congrants it seems maple is still enjoyable for you . Personally for me i think im getting bored of it. Havent logged in all week. Perhaps the maple anniversary will bring some life back in this game

Questing is fun when the quests don't require you to pick up 999999999999999 of this and 9999999999999 of that. I would prefer an actual storyline versus breaking my "x" key.

I might just start doing quests to make Maple story enjoyable for me.
Honestly I just grind a lot but I think questing would be fun.

@mitarumetaro:

It's safe to say I've repeated said cycle seven times, and finally came to the conclusion I should stop. Now I just log in and afk and watch movies.

@eyedrop

You don't ever have to do individual quests for levels 1-100. I'm sure there's a leveling guide floating around somewhere, but I'm to lazy to find the link

Yeah, definitely, I returned to this game 2 months ago after 2 years of absence and I have to say I enjoy it a lot more.

I totally agree with you on this, but a year ago leveling was the exact same. I think the need for grinding was diminished around 2011 or 2010.
