New resolution screen

I was wondering if the new resolution screen worked on laptops, because I don't think it works on my Windows 7.

The resolution it can be handle does not depend on if you have a laptop or not. It depends on the resolution on the computer. Some 13 inch computer can have 1280 X 800, 1366 X 768, 1440 X 900 or even 2560 X 1600

I'm surprise how so many people are confused about how resolution works. You have an 1280 X 800 display which is exactly why it doesn't work on 1366 X 768.

1366 X 768 requires 1366 pixels wide. Your 1280 X 800 display only has 1280 pixels wide. You are missing 86 pixels wide which is exactly why it doesn't work. Although you have enough pixels for the height, you don't have enough pixel horizontal

It all depends on your screen resolution. As long as it's past 13", which is typically 800 x 1280, then it should be fine.

Depends on your screen's resolution not being on a laptop or what version of windows you have. If your screen is too small to handle the wide resolution then it won't work right. In window mode it will go off your screen and in fullscreen it will shrink to fit, but when you alt tab to something else it will look messed up if it's not a good resolution for your screen.

has nothing to do with if its a laptop or not, all depends on how high your resolution can go.
