Assuming you're talking about CoD? From my experience, every gun is overpowered, and the game wasn't much of a challenge save that you run into the lame "pros" who focus on the most op guns(PDW-57, SKORPION EVO, etc.). Anyway, just toss on rapid fire and laser sight and spend most of your times hip firing since the maps are mostly close range

Foregrip/grip doesn't do anything.
If you think ANY smg in black ops 2 is weak, you are very much mistaken.

If it's fast enough (which it is), and if the bullets are on target, the general lack of damage shouldn't matter.
