They have already implemented level 250 into the test server.
I think this is ridiculous because they haven't even made a 5th job for us yet.
Other than that, CKS have a nice character creation screen. I like that new clothing set they are giving

Wouldn't they raise the stat cap if they are adding 50 extra levels?
I honestly think they have been planning this change since right after Big Bang when they decreased the exp needed to get to 200 to 1.1b.

Just the extra ap? That's pointless considering you already max out your primary base stat by 200.

-Lowering job advancements left us with 45 leftover SP.
-Max 50 levels higher gives us an extra 150 SP, making it 195 SP in total.
-So far, most of the things Basil's been complaining about happened. (Increase damage cap, make bosses harder, increase meso cap, increase max level, make Cygnus level 200) So with all that, why not make another job advancement adn do something with that much SP? if we wish long enough, maybe Cody's Theme Park will come through.

Honestly, unless the ap cap is increased as well, these extra 50 levels don't mean much (except for xenon).

Why do we even need a 5th job? What possible new skills can they give us besides stupid boosts and more ultimates.

it only adds 50 more levels for you to level and possibly adds a 5th job if most of the basil community's guesses are correct (which they probably are not:nexon would advertise 5th job before the 250 level cap because 5th job would be the biggest change)
50 more levels to level isn't anything monumental, and we already got loads of new jobs, a 5th job won't make much of a difference either

Pretty much what you said. People make hundreds of threads whenever anything new is released. This is probably one of the more significant changes. I really wonder what changes they will make! DrKs really need a very nice 5th job btw, my friend will be pleased to come back if 5th job for DrKs turns out really well. Besides that, this will change the DPM/DPS chart a lot for those that pay attention to that sort of thing.

For all intents and purposes, this is not only expected, this is REASON to post a lot of threads about it. It's a monumental change, because this is the first change of level cap on Maplestory in 10 years (or something of that effect from what I read).
