Minimized Screen Help

When I minimize my screen (alt+enter), the window still covers my whole screen. While as for my friends, its about 2-3/4 of the screen? When Im on the log in or character page, the window is small. but once I go onto my character, to the game, the window grows bigger, covering the whole screen.

Also it's possible your friends run their desktop screens at a higher resolution than you have your computer set for.
When you run Maplestory in "windowed mode", it's size is proportional to the resolution set for the whole screen.

If your desktop resolution is close to the Maplestory resolution, the Maple window will take up most of the screen.
If your desktop resolution is a lot larger than the Maplestory resolution, the Maple window will be a lot smaller.

I have my desktop on the computer I play Maplestory on set at 1024x768 (old monitor), and when I window Maple the window Maple is in is huge on the screen.
If I set the desktop resolution to say 1280x1024 or something like that, the Maple window will be smaller.

Like the other said, you can also make the Maple window smaller by setting it to 800x600 in the Maple system settings, but that makes your Maplestory game run at lower resolution all the time.

You need to change the resolution of MS.
Besides the Cash Shop button, there should be a menu or something, System Options, and you got two options for the resolution. Click the one that says 800x600.

I think you switched the screen to that 1064x800(i think its this) thing, switch it to 800x600 in the system options

Switch to 800x600 resolution, that should solve your problem.
