if you have a kanna friend it should only take about 45 minutes if you both kill. 15 area bosses, 3 dark energy then he spawns.where? im wondering the same thing at 170+

It's about how many monsters you're killing, not the amount of time you're there. That's why they spawn faster on lower level maps, because those monsters tend to die really fast. For me it's an average of 250-400 kills for an elite monster to spawn and around 14-18 elite monsters before a boss spawns.

It's important to note that the kill count does not reset when you, or someone else, leaves the map, so you could stumble upon a map that's close to spawning a boss (also tends to happen more at lower level maps because people only stay for a few levels). If you kill an elite monster and it says "you feel something in the dark energy" then there will be a boss within the next 4-5 elite monster kills.

Or you could go around looking for people training or bots. I usually make 20 elites an hour which is around 2bil.

last night on 2x my party of 3 (all around lv180) got an elite within 45 mins at sdh. We had 15 grims and it spawned on the third dark message.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a few hours.
If you hunt on low level maps with low level characters its much more efficient. My friend and I made new characters and up to level 70 we found 20-30 elites and made a lot of profit.

Takes a few hours for it to spawn.
It really depends on how fast you kill monsters I think.

Once you're 20 levels above that specific monster won't be able to spawn them. But First Drill Hall / Second if you want to hunt for them o.o at your level

mobs that are in your lvl range,
11lvls under -20 lvls over.
SDH/FDH mobs will satisfy you easily if you can get a channel that is.
