Nah living in baton rouge myself, Katrina was a category 4 or 5 hurricane (i forgot) Issac just hit us a few months ago but he wasn't as bad. The Media always hype up hurricanes, really there not that bad. Just no power for a few days and if your lucky a few hours. Some people power never go out.

@3moracoon: as usual the media only shows the bad parts. for example, in queens no dmg was done. A few trees fell but thats as bad as it gets.

At nyc, most of the major metro subway areas were flooded. I think they're still clearing it out. So it kinda means that some students are blocked out of school.

Its not bad Katrina unless you go to like Staten Island or Long Island all I got was 5 days without power.
