What bow should I use?
Hi. I'm totally nub at being a ranger, but now that I've hit 100, I'm starting to look at equips.
Right now, I'm using a 3rd Unwelcome Guest Bow that's 91 attack clean. I have 28 pink scrolls saved, but is it worth it to scroll the bow?
Also, I have 40 base strength and 34 from equips (Zhelm, dep star, rings). Would it be more efficient to get some str equips and buy a nonstrless bow?
I'm willing to use 200m to fund it, too.
Any tips would be appreciated, since like I said, I am COMPLETELY noob at being a ranger and haven't paid the slightest attention to prices and such. Thanks

@banhmi: I wouldn't pink scroll if you're not really serious. Just go for some 30%'s and 60%'s on a Nisrock. I wouldn't scroll the alien bow since it's worth more clean than badly scrolled, which is a very likely possibility lol...
In that case, just maker an overall/gloves/shoes for str, scroll a cape for str if you need extra str, and you should be up to 105 str without too too much effort or money.
@NineCrimes - Thanks. I'm really not expecting to have an "endgame" weapon by anyone's standards; just a decent one that will last me during 3rd job training and make me less super nubsauce. I might consider an Engaw if I end up really liking 4th job, but for now, the Nisrock looks more appealing because of its tradability.
But, if you consider the fact that I don't need an "endgame" right now, would it be less of a hassle to just scroll the 3rd Unwelcome Guest Bow, which is 4 watk lower than a Nisrock? The main thing I'm worried about is that if I 50% it, the scrolls would've been worth more than the bow.

It really depends on what bow you want to make your endgame bow. Some people go straight for an Engaw; others just use a Nisrock. What you need to do is figure out what your endgame bow will be and then see how much str you need. I wouldn't add base str until you start assembling your endgame gear and figure out how much str you can get from them. Maker + potentials make bonus str pretty easy to get.
But with 200m, you'll probably have to raise your base str.
