Windows 7 64bit download question
Hey im using a laptop with windows 7 with core i3 and 64bits and today I downloaded maplestory on this laptop but when it finished downloading the laptop showed a message that said "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.
Check your computer's system information to see if a version nesesita x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64 bit) program and then contact the vendor" how can i fix it :'(

Have you tried the "run as administrator" option on the game .exe itself?

@manzana12: Try uploading a screenshot of the error onto those image sharing websites and provide a link so we can help you. I have awful memory so I need something to refer to.
@ryuushinou : If I'm correct I've allready ran it on this laptop but idk why it apears this message (the message is on my last comment) and I dont find a way to fix this
Doesn't it say you can also just run the program? I got that message too but I just clicked run anyway.
I think I did this too.. I can't remember exactly. But you can definitely run MapleStory on a 64bit OS perfectly.
@RoboChair : It says this "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.
Check your computer's system information to see if a version nesesita x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64 bit) program and then contact the vendor"
@EruditeISBACK : Nope it just give me the option to click on "accept" and then the message closes
@EruditeISBACK
yeah I downloaded it from maplestory.nexon.net right down of the link that says play it is a link that says download I clicked on it and the download was the whole afternoon long and then when it finished downloading the compatibiliti error came out
^ don't do that
right click maple and click "troubleshoot compatibility"
That didnt work, ty for stoping me I was about to do the change to 32 bit
:O NeverTrained :OOO so mean jsut because im a stupid person doesnt give u the right to give me mesos :O
I think you can run it in a compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows. I'm running 64-bit Win 7 too, but I don't have that problem.
not sure but i think theres a way to change a 64 bit to a 32 bit check on google :O
