damage reduction for ewands
are there still boost for using correct ewand and are the reductions for using wrong ones still? like if my fp were to use a ewand/staff 7 which is ice my dmg be cut?

U are correct. There is still matching elements for elemental wands and staffs and yes using the wrong one will penalize ur damage.
The penalty will still be there even with Elemental Decrease.

Only AMs have Ele Decrease, not bishops. Regardless, an Ice mage shouldn't be buying a fire/poison elemental weapon because even though they can avoid the penalty, they won't be getting the bonuses either anyway.
edit: I stand corrected, the penalty stays regardless of using decrease or not.

Yes, but it was changed from 25% and 10% boosts to 10% and 5% boosts. The 25% damage penalty for differing elements still applies. Also as far as I know, some of the weapons are currently glitched and give the opposite boosts that they're supposed to give. For example, EStaff 6 gives +10% fire and +5% poison whereas it should be the other way around.
