You probably had to repress that memory if you were there... When zombies came out, it was overcrowded KS heaven for almost no exp gain! WHAT FUN BOY I WISH I COULD GO BACK.
Remember when there was almost no content, leveling took insanely long and you had to grind, even on Maple Island? Remember when there wasn't even a 3rd job to get? Remember not being able to enjoy NX benefits no matter how many mesos you have, unless you're willing to possibly get scammed for gifted items?

I'm positive that any good memories you have of the "good old days" in MS are so because the game was NEW to you back then. Despite BB having changed it all, you know the game like the back of your hand now. There's very little left to discover and nothing can bring the old magic back. That's what 90% of veteran Maplers fail to see- every game gets less new and exciting over time, as you learn the ins and outs of it and play through all the content. Maplestory is no different. Because they add things you don't necessarily agree with and bad glitches hit it at times, everyone thinks they can blame the fact that the game isn't fun on those changes.

Just because you were blind back then and thought MS was fun doesn't mean it really was. It was new and big and something you had never seen before. It grabbed you and pulled you in to something new and interesting. Back then, the glitches weren't as obvious. But do you REALLY think that it would be better to go back to the days of Drakes being the end-game monsters and Jr. Balrog being the end-game boss? Of no FM whatsoever? Of no maps outside vanilla Victoria? Of nothing but dreadfully boring quests and content available?

Maplestory has never been perfect and it never will be anything close to that. But the new content shows potential, for sure. Nexon just isn't willing to erase all the old crap that used to pass as "quests" way back when. They set the bar so low that anything mildly new or different is a very refreshing change of pace and makes the old-style "gather/kill X of Y" quests seem out of place.

We need more mini-dungeons. We also need more 100+ content and a much lower exp curve for 120+... IMO, the biggest failure of BB was the fact that it destroyed any chance of allowing most 4th jobbers to train.

thats what im trying to tell u guys, im using IMAC cpu and im still getting all these glitches and d/ces , waste of money

Am I the only one out there that doesnt lag AT ALL WHATSOEVER?
I'm beginning to think people need to start upgrading their computers. There's just so much more content in MS than before for old computers that came with XP to run. Either that, or their hardware degraded over the years.
I have never experienced anything you people are describing.
Also, if you are running MS on laptops, their onboard GPUs are easily degraded over time with gaming unless its a specific GPU made for gaming, which are way more expensive than the everyday users usually buy.

At least they fixed A LOT of things. The fact that there are still some lingering glitches is.. well, honestly, with a game as big as MS it's to be expected. what are u talking about O_O, maple is like that now but worse lol, i mean com on people hack trees for drops, u want to add ksing in?, people ks like any/every map there is, and then ask u to cc, hacks have gotten worse cuz of bb, people are getting hack and dont even know how it happened to begin with, EXP wise? who cares about the exp when u cant even train because of ksers to begin with, We need more mini dungeons for mapls people actually go to, and we need actual game owners that fix problems with the game, im sorry if your going to argue then tuff tit man.

Also, I suppose I should note, whenever was there a time where there WASN'T at least a few notable glitches kicking you in the face in MS? If not that, it was rampant hacking, extreme amounts of KSing, messed up this or that, monsters giving too much X or too little Y, etc, etc.

My desktop isnt old either i mean i even have windows XP the new one at that and people advises this stuff as if it helps -_-

right now i'm planning to take this winter break to spend time on my friends and do some parties. so yea it's a shame nexon didn't fix that CC problem.

It took me exactly 5 tries to log onto maple today

#1 . I entered my PIC got black screen (log in music still playing) then a sudden stutter in the music and i have to restart my cpu to exit maple.
#2. Entered PIC actually had to wait for the black screen for 5 minutes, then while in the fm the music then stuttered/Jammed and i had to restart my cpu
#3. Entered PIC and just totally got D/ced ( Note my Internet connection said excellent)
#4. same as #1
#5. I Entered PIC and buffed up and music Jammed again....

it seems like nexon doesnt care, what i noticed is they only add New CS items, or only fix the game when its some thing horrible going wrong, i didnt even mention the vacc hackers for the white christmas tree. its just rediculous, I guess gms were right when they said everything will change, town lagg changed, Changing channels changed, apparently the truth on patch notes that fall under things getting fixed changed to all lies, basically nexon isnt fixing anything because it must not be a problem if we are all still buying nexon cash still

CCing while training is like impossible now, I can never CC fast enough without getting hit by something then having to retry all over again

what kills me is they post on patch notes that things such as this will be fixed, but o well i quit maple i guess
