If schools were like maplestory classes

Just wondering, a lot of young people (by young I mean younger than 20 which is my current age) say that school is not helpful in their lives. What if say starting from 5th grade to high school, classes were made just for your particular career interest?

Like in high school you learn just about every subject you would learn in college but at the time you are choosing but most young people think it is unnecessary to take classes they may not be very good at. I ended up a Biology major, why? Because I want to be an animal scientist , I love animals and anything that has to do with science or nature. But math was a struggle, English I did really well because I had to, but chemistry and physics bored me half to death and I didn't do so well until I got scolded.

So a faculty will take a select few who want to study these things and actually know what they want to be and put them in a specific class where they can learn all about what they need to know for their future career path. Examples:
Biology
Chemistry
English
Math
Art
Business
Psychology
Humanities
Veterinary Medicine
Music
All of the above in education study
Etc (don't really care about the rest....) </3

It kinda makes me wonder since I am a sophomore in University if life in your career would begin a lot earlier like maybe age 15-20 you are already a Businessman or a nurse? I tend to look at the downfalls of something like this because now there will be more young people underage that are performing surgeries. o.o Would definitely make someone panic right? I tend to think that it would be a lot less expensive than spending 4 years learning about one subject when I can have 8 years plus and having more fun with it and more experience. Of course, it all would depend on those who KNOW what they want to do in life. <3

Wouldn't it be cool?

They would learn those things in their particular field of interest. Kind of like college at a middle school level.

Other countries that are not the United States focus on specializing education early for children, usually once they reach high school.

Why the United States believes general education all the way through college is important I will never know. Maybe for those that are indecisive, yes?
