Yay Devil Survivor! But why the second one

Only thing that looks appealing to me is Karneval.

Huh, not going to hate on this but, if SMTS2 is anything like the game, there'll be hours of fillers of them grinding EXP XD
But yeah, more mecha anime for me to watch.

@KawaiiDemon: early on it doesn't matter too much, but being even slightly low on hp and mana can screw you easily. and ofc later demons will take more of the respective stuff from you, and there are always the demons that refuse and get a free attack on you.

@KawaiiDemon: When I compare it to 2011/2012, winter 2012/2013 is 3x better; but then again, I've lowered my expectations significantly over the past 2 years.

@KawaiiDemon: idk man, SMT has been pairing high schoolers and demons for 26 years so i do give them a bit of credit there.
the way demons are handled is also fairly different, as you are essentially at their whims as to whether or not they join you and they usually request things ranging from money, mana, items, and life force (sometimes multiple times). they also vary in power, tons of them are far-flung from anything "cool," etc etc.

I'm only going to watch OreImo2 and the Steins;Gate movie.

I hope the anime adaptation of Shingeki no Kyojin will be good, I got the first two volumes as a present and they were great

@KawaiiDemon: if the Devil Survivor 2 adaptation is handled well at all (i hope, the same people did alright with Persona 4) then there's really no "emo fan-fic"-ness to it, esp since DS2 is actually lighter in tone than DS1. the SMT games are long and difficult, they aren't afraid to beat down your protagonist and tiny party, and the demons are all based on real ghost stories and such, not meant to be edgy. SMT games are also straight dungeon crawlers, there's not a romance or LN aspect to them like with Persona.

i mean i'm a bit concerned since some of the characters could be reduced to really stupid archetypes, and they have to give the MC a personality as opposed to being a player avatar, but that's where the only challenge/fault lies.

Hmmm... I guess I'll skip this season.

hoping Devil Survivor turns out well, Shingeki no Kyojin looks amazing, and i won't complain about a second season of Yondemasu-yo.
probably going to try Yahari Ore blah blah blah b/c the original designs look good. Aku no Hana seems better off as a manga.

Nothings peeked my intrest... As long as Jojo Bizzare Adventure and Hiatus X Hiatus is sill running, I'll be happy.
