Where do you shop?

Well I'm kinda trying to change my look so im wondering where you guys shop. This is mainly for guys but girls can give suggestions too if you want. I used to wear just sweats and sweatshirts during the winter and just shorts and t-shirt in the summer. I kinda want a look thats more "casual"? Like graphic tees and jeans a stuff. Believe it or not I actually don't own jeans, own sweats haha.

Thanks

you probably will not want to change your wardrobe dramatically and moving directly to this will seem really weird. the best way to start is probably to go get a bunch of v neck tees from target/h&m/uniqlo/american apparel and some jeans in a dark wash(levi's 511/513 is probably the best price/quality for the lower price range of washed denim). for sweaters, again h&m/uniqlo/aa are decently priced yet poor quality but it's okay because you're probably still growing so you can afford to play around with some cheap clothes. also, don't count thrift stores out.

the most important thing is that your clothes fit well on your body since it would be a waste to spend money on clothes that do not improve your appearance. no matter how good your clothes are, they will never look good if they don't fit well. last thing: look out for deals that are offered.

@xblueskies: Yes. On trips to the US, I shop at JCPenny, and when I'm in Canada and I need stuff, I shop at Bluenotes.

Just a heads up, your jeans might feel stiff compared to your daily sweats.

I like to go to Hot Topic because some of the stuff is pretty cheap especially their awesome sales. I kinda stay away from the hardcore emo/goth or whatever stuff it's called but the other stuff is nice. H&M is great but really expensive.

My favorite store is Aeropostale. If you like patterns like plaids or stripes and vivid colors + some great sales sometimes, Aeropostale is nice.

I mostly buy my tops from Forever 21 and H&M. I loveeeee the jeans from Hollister and A&E. Urban Outfitters is more for the accessories tbh. Hot Topic is pure trash.
@icoleslawderp: yeah but they're like big ol' combat boots that are or platform heels in hot pink neon green gothic like stuff
Ooooh those. I thought Journeys sold those. Ehhh I don't people buy those anyways.

@WolfGrey5s Well, to be honest. It looks weird, makes me want to punch the kids for dressing for preppy. I kind of like the "sailor" boy look people are trending atm. Whatever floats your boat.
Hollister, and listen to KC, even though she's like a troll most of the time, hottopic has a really bad style in terms of clothing...
so like yeah, go for hollister, abercrombie, american eagle. if you're a little bit more wealthy, go for, obey, supreme, stussy, diamond supply co, crooks and castles, etc..
if you want to look fresh, go for a snapback that goes with your clothes, for shoes go for some vans that match your clothes, and jordans get the white cement 3s, or any other jordans.
That's just hypebeast stuff. You can just go for a casual look with a cardigan, white vneck tee, skinny jeans, a pair of boat shoes and you're ready to go. No need to spe d that much cash if you aren't in the game.

That is because half of their shirts are band shirts of mainstream metal bands.
Hot topic sell shoes? I only go there if I need a pair of black super skinny jeans.

I love Tilly's. They have so many awesome pants that fit me really well.

For shirts, I usually get them from Forever ho, H&M, Hot Topic, concerts, or from random online stores.

Hot topic for fun graphic tees . Zumies for those mainstream shirts. And Forever 21 works too YES I SHOP DER AND IM A BOY PROBLEM? Other than that for Jeans you can get them at Jcpenny or any other department store. Of course this is if you have money to spend at these places.

H&M/Macys/Forever 21 have some good stuff
I like Hot Topic but I feel like I stand out in that store since I don't have like the 'emo look' ...
they sell lots of graphic tees (of like popular stuff) and jeans I think. Also, Journey's sells some shirts/jeans too.

Burlington Coat Factory or any giant department store. idk how my sis does it but she easily finds all kinds of clothes for my nephews.
I like H&M and Forever 21 though I don't buy much of their stuff.
