Remember when Dorner was on the run, and the LAPD shot up the wrong truck and killed two innocent civilians?
If you don't remember that, or if you had recently forgotten, or if you'd never heard about it in the first place, then I've already proven my point without even needing a video.
Where I live, the police don't even protect. They just write traffic tickets, and find some red-tape way of weaseling out of any confrontation. When my neighbors played music loud enough to shake the walls of my bedroom, they said they couldn't do anything until after 10:00 at night. When my friend's car was smashed into by another driver, and that same driver refused to share his insurance information and threatened to basically RUN if the cops were involved, my friend called the cops anyway, only to find out they couldn't interfere unless the other driver threatened her physically. When my roommate holed herself up in her room and refused to pay rent, almost putting everyone on the street as a result, the police refused to help with the situation in the slightest. Several of my friends have had their things stolen, and filing a report accomplished absolutely nothing.
You have to obtain justice on your own, apparently. Where any confrontation is involved, the police shy away, citing red tape. But when a thin, weaponless man saunters around a room (TS's video) all that red tape magically vanishes, and suddenly it's okay to dash his head into the concrete.
The cops are not equal, no matter how much the government says this.
There is a significant difference in the penalty of assaulting an officer and assaulting some random off the streets.
Cops aren't equal, they get special treatment that regular people don't get.
well I meant that cops are suppose to be equal though they aren't.
I already hate cops. Anyways this guy is a dumbass he should have just did what they said
K, you can be quiet now, lil guy.
How old are you 12? Posting tl-d(r) type comments, calling other people "lil guy" seriously?
For the amount of crooked cops in america, there are just as many if not more honest and hard working ones.
We've known about police brutality for a long time and it has been overlooked before. I agree it's a very bad thing and I don't like it but that doesn't make me hate every single cop. That's just silly thinking.
@Hiraku: I'm not above the law I'm equal just like cops.. They get away with this stuff everyday... They're beating this man and I'm getting insulted wow we live in a brainwashed society.
Literally all cops I've dealt with outside of school where they try to act like heroes were 100% assholes.
Nearly all the dbags who think they're above the law are pricks, this includes the people being arrested.
not all cops are horrible people.
Literally all cops I've dealt with outside of school where they try to act like heroes were 100% assholes.
Well the police gets rid of criminals and makes the town a safer place to live so of course I'm gonna hate them.
