Rate my idea for my bannedstory character

So I'm starting to learn animation using flash and just like all the good animators we know that have one specific char, I need one as well. So while sleeping I thought I can use my my Mage and give him 2 personalities, one that control fire, and one controls ice, and while using ice for example, he split himself into 2 chars, one is colored in like, blue'ish effect, and one in regular form, and the regular form will not move, like a rock, while the blue one will do all the action. Same for fire mode just in red'ish effect. Hope u understood the idea.
So, thoughts, and anything u think I can improve in my char? Remember, it's going to be the char I'll animate the most so I need it to be perfect.
@Ronddragon123 I thought you could pick up something from the video that will improve your char.
You should also think of the skills that it would have like ice having a slowing or freezing/stunning effect skills on its enemies and fire would have a burning effect on its skills.
Well, maybe in the future. I just started learning yesterday so I'm not THAT good at it.

The moment i read that fire and ice that can split himself in two, I thought of Gemini from Heroes of Newerth.
But the thing is only one of them will be active each time.
