A VERY Suspicious Message in Free Market Shops
I had my shop up for several hours today while at school. When I got back and checked the sales, someone posted a message in my shop chat. This is the SS:

If you don't want to click the link, the message reads:
"OMGITSSULFR: Hey, I'm Sulfer. I've screen shotted maples best equips and put them on a forum to show everyone. One of your items was used ^_^. Check it out at mmorpg2d.com/forum/172043.htm"
This is pretty suspicious to me. I just thought I'd warn everyone.
I actually tested this out myself. It was a link to a forum site, and there were several links to images. Only, in red text next to the link said: "You must be logged in or registered to view the images". So, I signed up, definitely not using any of the information I use for any of my Maple accounts. I checked my email, and nothing. So, assuming this is a phishing site that tries to get your login info to hack your account.
EDIT: Also, I forgot to add that the message described that the SS'es were pictures of really good/godly equips. I found it funny because the best equip I had in my shop at all was a Rare level 40 Brown Pilfer with all stats added 2...
Thanks for reading,
Ruzei.

Same happened to me with the same message and the same guy. I haven't seen what item he was talking about because I don;t trust the site, and I had nothing worth showing in my shop. So it is some sort of trick.

F YOU NX HOAHSOR
NEVER trust links offered to you in game.
Just by signing up it seems like you've taken too much of a risk =/
Hope you don't get hacked, should scan your computer for a keylogger.
Ok why are people talking about Action Replay for in my SS lol
Quite a common practice but thank you for the warning regardless.
was a thread necessary? ive seen messages just like that all the time....they do it to get people who dont know whats going on to go to a site and get owned...
Well no offense but the items you were selling aren't godly...
So why would he use your clean items?
That person isnt after the items. Hes after peoples accounts by saying he got a SS of their items, so come to his website and sign up therefore keylogging you.
I think Its a pretty funny scam O.o besides the fact that he tells everyone their stuff was used is rather dumb though. O.o
i think its a virus or just a hacker
they do that a lot, just ignore it, it's a phisher/keylogger
I would just ignore anything that is left in your shop telling you to go to a site.

the people who fall for this type of scam are idiots who deserve to be hacked.
Get used to it, Nice Jaira btw! =)
It's just a bot that shoots in and out of every shop and posts that message. It has nothing to do with what's actually in your store.
Also, you shouldn't have even visited the site. The less you respond to that message, the safer you are.

Pretty sure it's a phishing or keylogging website. I suggest to not go on this if everyone is pretty much getting all the same message. Advertisers :C

I got that too. Nice Jaira btw. o-o.
just ignore it they do it all the time
If it's from Sulfur, it's a scam.
Edit:Yep it's Sulfur.
I don't remember exactly how it comes into play, but there's phishing on that website somewhere last people claimed.
I'd avoid going to it, as everyone gets that exact message.
